Its members tested and evaluated 14 new models in the light-weight commercial vehicles segment. By unanimous decision, the Citan took first place!

The eCitan: the new member of the eVans family.

Electrical offering in all van categories

In the second half of 2022, the eCitan will be stepping up to the starting blocks as the fully electric model variant of the Citan. The range in accordance with WLTP is approx. 285 to max. 300 kilometres. With this in mind, it corresponds to the needs of commercial users who often use this vehicle for courier and delivery services in inner cities. At rapid charging stations, the battery can be charged in 40 minutes to 80 percent. One big advantage is that customers need not make concessions when it comes to the dimensions of the load compartment and the available payload in comparison to conventional models. A trailer coupling will also be available for the eCitan.

The new MBUX multimedia system

The infotainment equipment in the new Citan has a solution for almost everything, whether you want to get to your destination more quickly using the latest traffic data whilst charging your mobile device wirelessly, or operate your optional MBUX multimedia system via the high-resolution touchscreen, the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel or voice command. Everything is possible. Also new are the connectivity services from Mercedes me which offer you almost unlimited possibilities for information and entertainment in your small van, as well as additional safety and security.

To operate the multimedia system, you can use the high-resolution touchscreen with 17.8 cm (7-inch) screen diagonal in the same way that you use your mobile devices. The buttons on the multifunction steering wheel provide another input option.
